REHEARSALS

The exercise of dividing up all the characters of the play, Much Ado About nothing, was useful as it acted as a visual metaphor I could refer back to when considering how I should react to characters. For example Claudio should gravitate towards Benedick because they are both soldiers and have generated a strong friendship before the play.

Keep acting at all times, sounds simple. But know how to react, live in the moment, if you drop your character by zoning out while its not your line, the audience will zone out too. Treat it like real life not a stage.
